PHILBROOK MUSEUM PORTRAITS – AN EUROPEAN INSPIRED SESSION

A piece of Europe in the middle of Oklahoma, the perfect Philbrook Museum session. With a stunning backdrop can 100% pass for an European villa, Kaitlyn + Josh celebrated their anniversary with a session at Philbrook Museum and downtown Tulsa. Kaitlyn wore the most beautiful princess gown, fit for the occasion and location, from my very own Curated Gowns collection, and Josh’s grey suit complimented the soft and chic vibes. Even though Tulsa had thunderstormed for the past few days (to the point where Philbrook asked if we were sure we wanted to go ahead with the session…), the rain stopped just a few hours before our session and the sun even came our for the last half of the shoot.

As if the weather surprise wasn’t enough, I had one last surprise while photographing in downtown Tulsa. The day prior, I was scouting the locations and one of the places I wanted to shoot was not accessible after hours. I was so bummed, but for this session, we decided to try our luck again anyways. A sweet lady saw us and actually allowed us in! The iconic Philtower with its gothic interior is a historic landmark in Tulsa, and I’m so grateful to be able to shoot inside.
