European Inspired Wedding Portraits in Kansas City

I wanted to do this session as a way to break out of my comfort zone in Kansas City. We all know the iconic locations in KC – Nelson Atkins, Loose Park, WWI Memorial… I love them and they’re wonderful spots for good reasons, but I wanted to challenge myself to scout for a different, more European and historical backdrops. These florals by Honoring Yours added an extra wow factor to the already beautiful location, and I’m so grateful to have her there!
No matter where you are, chances are there are some locations that will transport you to an entirely different continent. I love being able to find new perspectives, and being a destination wedding photographer truly allows me to look at each new location with fresh eyes and find the most uniquely stunning places.
