It amazes me that it is my job capture it all through the lens of my camera, so that every moment is documented for you to reminiscent.
Let’s take a look at some of my favorite Kansas City wedding venues!
The Vineyard at J Creek
The Vineyard at J Creek, located in Platte City, MO is nestled on 25 acres of private land. This venue offers both indoor and outdoor amenities, both stunning in their own way! The outdoor space is framed by the beautiful 7 acre vineyard, making the perfect backdrop for your pictures. The indoor ballroom features floor to ceiling windows and can accommodate up to 300 guests. Some other perks include two getting ready suites, an onsite event team, and a full service bar.
The Century Club
The Century Club is one of our more glamorous wedding venues in Kansas City, located on the fifth floor of the 100-year-old building, The Mark. This venue is classic elegance and modern romance. With space to entertain up to 300 guests and amenities such as bar staff, decor offerings, and shuttle services. Did I mention, not only is their Ballroom absolutely stunning, so are their getting ready spaces and even the lobby of The Mark. Your wedding at The Century Club is sure to be classic and timeless.
White Iron Ridge
White Iron Ridge will redefine your vision of a ‘barn wedding’. This luxury space is a favorite among my couples, and the photos absolutely speak to that. The iconic stretch staircase, stone arches and spacious ballroom give everyone all the feels and make this photographer’s heart sing! Located in Smithville, MO, it offers natural lighting, indoor and outdoor spaces, full-service bar, private suites, overnight accommodations, and room to host up to 400 guests
Hotel Kansas City
The historic Hotel Kansas City offers an eclectic and urban scene for your big day. The building offers a collection of 5 event spaces featuring rooftops with skyline views or ballrooms with modern, unconventional or traditional interior. This venue offers the variety and convenience that will match almost any couples vision. I personally love how versatile this space can be, definitely fit for an editorial and intimate wedding vibe!
La Villa
Another Downtown venue that has us in a trance is La Villa. This venue is unlike anything else I have ever seen. It has a spanish flare and personality with hidden pockets of beauty throughout the entire venue. Making this THE place for one-of-a-kind portraits. Amenities include, on-side getting ready suites, indoor and outdoor access, full service event staff for day of and leading up to as well as great partnerships all over the city for overnight accommodations and vendor recommendations.
Once you have picked out your perfect venue, the real planning begins! I like to take the time to get to know my couples and their vendor team before the wedding day, so we can make a plan to capture every moment without missing a beat. We will come up with a photography timeline and talk through any details that may affect wedding photos as the planning process goes on.
