Full Day Engagement Session in San Diego

Kristina and Jonathon flew me out to San Diego, one of their favorite places, for a weekend to do their engagement session prior to their Houston wedding. Everything about this session and this couple was perfect, and we truly had so much fun! We started the day bright and early with a sunrise session at the iconic Balboa Park in casual attire. The Balboa Park has so many stunning corners all around, from the rose garden to all the Spanish inspired architecture, it’s the perfect spot for portraits. We took a break after the sunrise session, then we headed to the Glamis Sand Dunes for the second half of the engagement session. The sand dunes are about 3 hours from San Diego, but the scenery is surreal. We had a great time on the dunes, running in the sand and catching the sunset – I believe it was well worth the 6 hours round trip!
A beautiful and memorable day spent with Kristina and Jonathon. This blog is written a little late, since then I’ve also captured their wedding in Houston and maternity session in Cannon Beach. We became fast friends after this engagement session, and I can’t believe a short few years later, they’ve become new parents and I get to witness it. I’m ecstatic for you both, and I hope to see you guys again soon for your next big life event!
