Posh and Casual Engagement Session at the Ambassador Hotel and Nelson Atkins

Molly and Dalton wanted the best of both worlds – fancy and laidback. We started off the session at the beautiful Ambassador Hotel. I shot there a few months back for the hotel as they’re wanting to promote more weddings and shoots there, and I fell in love with the old-money lobby and jazz speakeasy (not pictured here). This was my first Ambassador Hotel engagement and it did not disappoint! Afterwards, we moved to the iconic Nelson Atkins Museum for some casual photos – I loved their B&W look! Then, we changed into one of my dresses from Curated Gowns for the last part of the session. We wanted a little bit of Europe to close out this engagement session, and Verona Columns Park is the perfect spot for it – I’ll let the photos speak for itself!
