Keeping the integrity of the images in mind, I seek out ways to transform these images into a work of art that solidifies the moment in the most beautiful way. I’m a strong believer in blending candid and directed shots for the effortless yet timeless portraits.
20 years from now, you’ll feel all the same emotions you felt on your wedding day as you flip through that wedding album of yours – and no, your images do not deserve to be forgotten in the digital world. Here at ALP, heirloom albums and physical prints are just as important as your digital gallery and I’ll walk you through the design processes.
Art is a big part of my life. Raised in Hong Kong, I’ve always been in painting classes and drawn inspirations from the little piece of ocean I grew up in front of. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel from a young age, and photography quickly became my new art form. Documenting the journeys, finding beauty in different corners of the world… It allowed me to become the artist I am now.
As a hybrid photographer, I utilize both digital and film formats. Intentionality is huge and I embrace the beauty of the perfectly imperfect. Currently based in Kansas City and available around the world, my mission hasn’t changed a bit. I am still documenting incredible journeys, except I get to do this for others now.
